One of the best kebabs in Milton Keynes!
I’d never had a kebab until I met Mr Fixit who is a kebab connoisseur. Whilst he loves kebabs and would happily eat one most days, I don’t. I happily have one every couple of weeks or so but I couldn’t eat them often. Depending on where you buy them, they can be truly disgusting or very tasty.
Mr Fixit’s favourite kebab vendor is Newton Leys Kebab Van, I have to say they do pretty good kebabs and more importantly, (to me) as at today’s date, have a food hygiene rating of 5/5.
The doner meat has a good flavour, the salad is usually crisp & slightly lemony/salty. I don’t have a pitta as, being a bit of a lightweight kebabist, I have the kids doner & chips which consists of chips, with kebab meat on top, and a layer of salad over the meat. Mr Fixit has a mixed kebab and a portions of chips. We both like the chips, they’re just right, not too crisp & hard, but not soft & squidgy either. The portion sizes are good and we are both normally too full up to finish our meals.
The guys that run the van are friendly and personable too and they have an app (which is downloadable from Google Playstore or Apple store) so you can order and then go pick it up when it’s almost ready.
Bon appetit!
